WHEN SHOULD I START LOOKING?
We would advise that your dress should be ordered no later than 12 months before your wedding day, in order to to give time for your dress to be made and for all alterations to be completed. Alterations take place 8 -12 weeks before the big day so preferably starting a year before your wedding date would make your wedding planning a bit more stress free. Some brides will find their dress on the first visit to our boutique and others will like to visit several boutiques which will require more time. Although 9 - 12 months lead time is ideal, if you have a shorter time frame please come and see us and we will be able to advise you on dresses that are available at shorter notice. There will always be dresses we will let go off the peg if your wedding is less than 4 months away.
WHO SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?
We appreciate that this is a very exciting time for you and that you may wish to share this experience with a large group of family and friends. However, too many opinions can become confusing when you are trying to choose your dress. We would suggest no more than 3 people to attend your appointment with you. Both our boutiques are small and from our experience, our brides have had more enjoyable appointments with fewer guests. For our weekend appointments, we welcome up to 3 guests, however, if you would like to bring more we can accommodate this on a weekday appointment. Just let us know when booking in with us. We would also suggest that if you are choosing your bridesmaids dresses from us at our Morgan boutique that you book another appointment on a different day with your bridal party so that the focus remains on you for the entire appointment.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We provide shoes and apart from that you can wear what you feel comfortable with. We would advise bringing a strapless bra to ensure that you get the best impression of your dress during your appointment with us.
DO YOU HAVE AN INSTORE SEAMSTRESS?
We don't have an inhouse seamstress, however we do work closely with a few seamstresses we highly recommend to all our customers.

IS MY DEPOSIT SAFE?
We are part of the Retail Bridalwear Association brides protection scheme. This is complimentary insurance for your deposit and the RBA guarantees the deposit you have paid to us. We can assure you that you are in safe hands with us as the RBA check our business financials regularly to ensure we are a reputable business.
There are over 2500 bridal shops in the UK and only 85 are members of the RBA. Only four being from South Wales.
